- Huge speed improvements for TvDb.Com when renaming large number of files.
- TvDb.Com supports parsing based on airdate or absolute number.
- TvDb.Com supports new naming conventions based on airdate and absolute number.
- Settings dialog now allows easier building of naming convention format using drag and drop.
- New setting to make recursing directory always prompt, auto recurse or ignore sub directories.
- New settings added to allow specific naming conventions to be used for when parsing mode is set to airdate or absolute number.
- Fixed issue where show name field was taken from user entered show name instead of the server data, to use the user entered show name there is a new naming field.

EpNamer 1.4.4 for Mac OSX is HERE!!!

EpNamer is now a cross platform application!
With a few code changes and thanks to the excellent Mono Project, EpNamer can now be run on Linux and Mac OSX. I will only be distributing a Mac package, I’ll assume anyone running Linux is technical enough to figure out how to setup mono to run EpNamer.

The only real limitations in the Mac version is:
- the auto updater does not work as well as on Windows.
- the browse dialog only lets you browse your home directory, no mounted external drives or network volumes. Users will have to rely heavily on drag and drop to the main window for anything outside the home directory.

EpNamer 1.4.4 Released

- Default show name will be based on a directory one level further up if the episode folder begins with season/series (these trigger strings can be edited in the app config xml).
- If episode folder contains sub-directories user will be prompted whether to recurse. Episode ID parsing will try to use file name only, if that fails then it will try to use the info in the sub directories too for episode ID parsing.
- Settings dialog can now better handle not being able to read/write to the registry (should fix Vista/Win7 problems).
- All path name parsing, renaming and event raising is now cross platform safe.
- Fixed issue with unnecessarily reloading the contents of episodes directory.
- Fixed issue where episode downloading would happen in reverse order.
- Fixed some error handling in AutoUpdater.

EpNamer Version 1.4.3 Released

Thanks for the feedback on the 1.4.2 release, I’ve added some minor features and some needed bug fixes:
- Added support for a single folder via the command line.
- Added option to allow EpNamer to be launched from the Windows Explorer right click menu for directories.
- Fixed bug where episode numbers were limited to 99. New limits are now 99 for season number and 999 for episode number.
- Added error handling to try to better handle on load errors.
- Fixed crashing when unsupported fields are used in the naming convention with TheTvDb.com.
- EpNamer Auto Updater now uses http referer to tell server which version is being updated.

Sorry about the buggy 1.4.1 release guys, hopefully this one should be much better:
- Episode id gets recalculated every time you edit the show name.
- Moved strip show name feature to the main dialog from settings (I imagine people will need to turn it on/off regularly).
- Fixed bug where TvRage service was not working at all.
- Fixed bug where didn’t work in naming convention.
- Fixed bug where didn’t work in TheTvDb.com naming convention.
- Program settings shouldn’t be lost when upgrading to future versions.

EpNamer Version 1.4.1 Released

The new version of EpNamer is here, with a few new features:
- Show multiple show name possibilities if the server ever thinks there are more than 2 possibilities, or enter show id manually (only TheTvDb.com supports this feature).
- Option for action to be taken on program launch; do nothing, load last used directory or show browse dialog.
- Option for action to be taken after rename; reload directory, clear fields or close epnamer.
- Option to strip first instance of show name from file name before scraping for episode id (this should greatly improve scraping episode id of shows with numbers in the title, eg. 24, Numb3rs, Reno 911!, etc.).
- Minimum season number is now 0 instead of 1 to support Specials.
- Fixed bug where anything with a DVD Disc Id defined in TheTvDb.com would cause error and fail (eg. Family Guy Season 1 and Reno 911!).
- Fixed bug where TheTvDb.com would be queried for a mirror server for every episode.
- Fix regex to be an app setting instead of user.
