Thanks for the feedback on the 1.4.2 release, I’ve added some minor features and some needed bug fixes:
- Added support for a single folder via the command line.
- Added option to allow EpNamer to be launched from the Windows Explorer right click menu for directories.
- Fixed bug where episode numbers were limited to 99. New limits are now 99 for season number and 999 for episode number.
- Added error handling to try to better handle on load errors.
- Fixed crashing when unsupported fields are used in the naming convention with TheTvDb.com.
- EpNamer Auto Updater now uses http referer to tell server which version is being updated.

Hi,
I love the program, I was using 1.4.2 before without problems, but all of a sudden it was crashing after a couple of seconds. I then upgraded to 1.4.3, and that one isn’t crashing anymore, but everytime you start it, after about a second it displays an error message:
“Error: Object Reference not set to an instance of an object”
After closing the dialog, the program just keeps working (so it’s an improvement over 1.4.2

I don’t know why, but the problem just went away by itself. Maybe a date issue or something? Anyway, since I can’t reproduce it anymore, it makes no sense to look into this

Alright I have used this program for about a month and it is AWESOME. I just bought a mac though and I NEED the mac version. Where is the mac version!?!
If you put it out my friend and I both have $15 to throw down for it. Please? =)
Hi, unfortunately a Mac version is a long way off, if at all. I would much rather put hours of work into adding more features rather than build a Mac version with the same features.
I also moved to Mac OSX since starting this project, and although it isn’t ideal, I manage fine using EpNamer via a Parallels VM.
If it’s any consolation, the other app I’m working on, MovNamer, for quickly renaming your movie files is a Mac OSX app.
The Mac version is out now, I look forward to you and your friend’s donations ; )
